TRIPOD+AI for Abstracts has been published together with TRIPOD+AI in April 2024.

TRIPOD+AI for Abstracts is an extension of TRIPOD+AI. TRIPOD+AI for Abstracts is a checklist with guidance for reporting abstracts of diagnostic or prognostic prediction model studies, regardless of the used data analytical technique, in journals and in conference abstracts. Although the TRIPOD Statement provides general recommendations for reporting titles and abstracts, detailed guidance appears to be desirable to help readers and reviewers identify the relevant studies – for example in systematic reviews of prediction model studies – and to help deciding whether they need to read the full text.
